'NOD' was recorded in 1996 at BE-1, a collaborative artspace in Toronto. Writing, recording and playing were by Nik. Back-up vocals on 'Disneyse' by Roy Ellis. 'NOD' the recording is accompanied by a chapbook including the lyrics of the songs, as well as other poems, and an essay on consciousness and addiction which was written as a sub-text to the poetic narrative. The essay runs sequentially along the bottom of all the pages.
